  • The name "Consently" and all associated branding are the property of Consently.

  • Reverse engineering, decompiling, or attempting to extract source code is strictly prohibited.

3. User Accounts

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.
  • Users must provide accurate and current information when registering.
  • Account holders are responsible for all activity under their account.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to:

5. Consent Forms and Data

  • Schools and organisations using Consently are responsible for the accuracy of consent form data entered.
  • Consently facilitates the collection of digital consent but does not provide legal advice on consent requirements.
  • Schools retain ownership of their consent data. Consently does not claim ownership of user-generated content.
  • Parents/guardians retain the right to withdraw consent at any time.

6. Privacy

  • Personal information collected through consent forms is stored securely and used only for the purpose of the specific consent request.
  • We comply with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) of South Africa.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. While every effort is made to ensure accuracy and availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Consently shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this platform.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
